Q1) How can I change my profile details?

 

1- Tap the list icon which is located on the top left of the home/map page.

2- Second, you need to tap “Edit Profile”, which is located right under your name. This will take you to your profile page.

3- Tap the pen icon located on the top right of the profile page and make the necessary changes.

4- Tap “save” which is located at the bottom of the page.

Q1) How to find out about the costs of rides?

All costs are listed on the “Rate Card” page. You can see these costs by clicking the list icon located at the top left of the home/map page. Click on “Rate Card” and you will find the costs according to vehicles types.

 

Q2) How to know the cost of a ride?

1- Enter your destination address in the “Enter Destination” field.

2- Your default pickup location is set to your GPS address (you can change your pickup location either by entering your pickup address or by moving the green pickup pin on the map).

3- Use the slider to choose the vehicle type.

4- Fare estimate will be displayed in the lower left part of the home/map page.

 

Q3) How to request a ride?

1- Enter your destination address in the “Enter Destination” field.

2- Your default pickup location is set to your GPS address (you can change your pickup location either by entering your pickup address or by moving the green pickup pin on the map).

3- Use the slider to choose the vehicle type.

4- Tap “now”.

5- Wait for a driver to accept your request.

6- You will receive a notification when a driver accepts your request.

7- You will see your driver on the map. The app will display an Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA).

8- You will receive a notification when your driver arrives.

 

Q4) How to request a pickup from the airport?

You can request a pickup from the airport either when you arrive to the airport or prior to arriving to the airport. To request a ride when you are at the airport, you need to do the following:

1- Enter your destination address in the “Enter Destination” field.

2- Your default pickup location is set to your GPS address, which is the airport.

3- Use the slider to choose the vehicle type airport taxi.

4- Tap “now”.

5- Wait for a driver to accept your request.

6- You will receive a notification when a driver accepts your request.

7- You will see your driver on the map. The app will display an Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA).

8- You will receive a notification when your driver arrives.

 

To request a ride prior to arriving to the airport, you need to do the following:

 

1- Enter your destination address in the “Enter Destination” field.

2- Enter your pickup location, which is airport name, in the pickup field.

3- Use the slider to choose the vehicle type airport taxi.

4- Tap “later” (located at the lower right part of the page).

5- Choose the date and time.

6- Tap the check sign.

7- You will receive a notification when one of our drivers is ready to pick you up.

 

Q5) How to request a ride to the airport?

1- Enter the airport name in the “Enter Destination” field.

2- Your default pickup location is set to your GPS address.

3- Use the slider to choose airport taxi.

4- Tap “now”.

5- Wait for a driver to accept your request.

6- You will receive a notification when a driver accepts your request.

7- You will see your driver on the map. The app will display an Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA).

8- You will receive a notification when your driver arrives.

 

Q6) How to cancel a ride accepted by a driver?

After your ride is accepted by one of our drivers, you will see “cancel ride” located the lower part of the home/map page. Tap “cancel ride” and then tap “yes” in the confirmation box.

 

Q7) How to schedule a ride in advance?

1- Enter your destination address in the “Enter Destination” field.

2- Your default pickup location is set to your GPS address (you can change your pickup location either by entering your pickup address or by moving the green pickup pin on the map).

3- Use the slider to choose the vehicle type.

4- Tap “later” (located at the lower right part of the page).

5- Choose the date and time.

6- Tap the check sign.

7- You will receive a notification when one of our drivers is on his way to your location.

 

Q8) How to schedule a ride to the airport?

1- Enter the airport name in the “Enter Destination” field.

Q9) How to cancel a scheduled ride?

1- Tap the list icon located at the top left of the home/map page.

2- Tap “Bookings”.

3- Tap “Scheduled Rides”.

4- Tap “Cancel” which is located right under the ride details.

Q1) How can I identify a driver?

After your ride request is accepted by a driver, you will see the driver details in the lower part of the home/map page. These details include a profile photo, vehicle number and vehicle type.

 

Q2) How to contact a driver after requesting a ride?

After your ride is accepted by one of our drivers, you will see a telephone icon in the top right part of the home/map page. You can call your driver directly by tapping the telephone icon. Note that charges may apply when you call your driver, and these charges relate to your mobile operator.

Q1) How can I pay for my ride?

All payment are in cash. After your ride being completed, the application will display the total cost of your ride.

 

Q2) How can I rate a driver?

After you ride has been completed, the app will display rating stars and a comment box. You can rate your driver from 1 (very bad) to 5 (very good). You can also provide detailed feedback in the comment box.

 

Q3) Is it ok to give tips to my driver?

Tipping is voluntary. The costs do not include any tips so it is up to you if you would like to give tips to the driver.

Q1) What is invite friends?

You can invite your friends to join KurdTaxi and you will earn discounts for your future rides. You can do this by following these steps:

 

1- Tap the list icon located at the top left of the home/map page.

2- Tap “Invite”.

3- Tap “share”.

4- Choose the way of sharing; Facebook, Whatsapp and/or Email.

The servers we use are state of art technology. All data is kept secure on our secure servers which no other party has access to.

Q1) Is it safe to use Kurd Taxi?

We have interviewed all drivers and registered every driver in person. All drivers are licensed and all rides are tracked through the system. It is completely safe to use KurdTaxi.
